Three Ferradermis Leadership Team Members, Cosette Wildermuth-Breitzman, Maddison LaHaie, and Erison Dreksler, teamed up with the President of FIRST Wisconsin, Renee Becker-Blau, to introduce more schools to the world of FIRST Robotics during the SLATE Educational Technology Conference held at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells on Tuesday, December 5. The trio spent the day interacting with attendees who were mainly teachers, administrators, and curriculum directors from across Wisconsin, doing robot demonstrations and answering questions. They also fanned out to selected workshop sessions to introduce themselves to the presenters and invite them to visit their booth to learn more about FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and the opportunities these programs create for students K-12.
