On Saturday, February 3, Ferradermis greeted over 80 guests at their Open House, held during a regular team workday.
Students set up “stops” on the tour where visitors could learn about the 2024 game, check out the CAD design of the new robot, see a swerve drive demonstration and learn about AprilTags, work with the electrical components for a robot, learn about safety, and visit the shop where the robot was under construction. Finally, visitors could check out the school district’s five FIRST Lego League teams who had set up their field and project boards in a nearby classroom.
