Whitewater, WI is unique among many other districts in our area in that we have a flourishing robotics program.
In Fall, 2023, 110 Whitewater elementary and middle school students competed on LEGO robotics teams throughout the district. Additionally, this Spring, 2024, forty-one Whitewater high school students participating in FIRST Robotics as a competitive high school sport. Under strict rules and with limited time and resources, high school teams build, program, and drive industrial-size robots to compete in difficult field games.
Through robotics, students gain experience in engineering, AI, coding, game-based learning, mechanical and electrical design, leadership, public speaking and advocacy. In robotics, students develop a love for design and construction
and connect with others who share their passions.
